  Yamazaki 12 Years Ceramic Bottle (Rabbit)

  Japan’s premiere single malt with a delicate and elegant taste that makes it a superbly drinkable whisky with layers of complex aromas. It continues to capture the hearts of whisky lovers the world over. Succulent with soft fruit. Sweet vanilla and fruity notes derived from white oak casks are accented with fine aromas of spirits aged in sherry and Japanese oak casks(Mizunara).

  This special bottling of Yamazaki 12 is an earthenware style known as 黄瀬戸(Kiseto), influenced by the city of Koseto during the Muromachi period. The creations are noted for their incised and stamped decorations under a brown or yellow green glaze. It has been highly valued by the Masters of the Tea Ceremony since ancient times. This square bottle features a layer of yellow enamel paint, with a motif of a rabbit.

  Nose: Peach, pineapple, grapefruit, clove, candied orange, vanilla, white flowers and Mizunara, Japanese oak.

  Palate: Coconut, cranberry and butter

  Finish: Sweet ginger, cinnamon, long finish.
