The much hyped winner of Jim Murray’s “World Whisky of the Year” award, only limited to 18000 bottles.

Nose: Rich and complex nose. Delightful sherry notes, dried fruits and berries – figs, apricots, raisins, cherries and dates. Soft sugary notes with a slightly caramelized touch. Slight oakiness. Coffee liqueur and cherry liqueur.

Palate: Creamy smooth and soft. Quite light and very well-balanced. Spicy, with dried fruits and medium sweetness. A bit of oak and oranges and a mild expresso note.

Finish: The slightly burnt notes of caramelized sugar are back adding a robust bed for the lighter fruit notes. Sherried, oaky and the finish is medium to long but rich all the way.
