Hakushu distillery is nestled in a deep forest surrounded by mountains. At a very high elevation (700 meters) the whisky ages more slowly with less wood influence on the dram. One of the younger expressions of the Hakushu range, this is a great introduction to what the distillery has to offer.

Nose: Butterscotch, minty, creme brulee, fruity, oak, lemongrass, light smoke and peat

Palate: RIch vanilla, malty, caramel, apple pie, honey, some pear and zesty citrus

Finish: Short to medium. Prunes and toffee finish
