  Yamazaki Plum Liqueur Cask Finish

  This is a rare collector's item, a 14 year old single malt from Yamazaki. It is aged for more than 12 years in white oak, mizunara and Spanish oak casks and subsequently finished for 2 years in a barrel previously used for umeshu. Only 3000 bottles were released in August 2008.

  Nose: Hint of umeshu, toffee, bubblegum, stawberries, honey, citrus orange and vanilla.

  Palate:  Dry, creamy, plum sweetness upfront, oak, orange peels.

  Finish: Intense, spicy, apple, sweet oak, long finish.
